Samsung Omnia HD I8910. Soluzione al problema modem su Windows 7

Il problema si verifica connettendo lo smartphone a computers con sistema operativo Windows 7 64bit. Il software Pc Studio 7  funziona in tutte le sue opzioni eccetto che per la connessione del PC ad internet mediante I8910. In pratica non viene riconosciuto il modem Samsung.
Soluzione:
Bisogna aggiornare il driver del modem.
Sul PC andate sul pannello di controllo poi su hardware e troverete un dispositivo con un punto interrogativo.
Fate doppio clic per aprirne la scheda, poi  selezionate il tab “driver”, poi cliccate su “update driver”, e puntate su (nel mio caso) C\program files\samsung\x64.  Il gioco è fatto.
In alcuni casi, nel mio ad esempio, la cartella x64 non esisteva. Ho dovuto disinstallare PC Studio7, reinstallarlo, ed è apparsa. A quel punto si segue la procedura descritta sopra e si fa puntare il dispositivo sul driver contenuto su x64.
